Embrace the Vision - Health Clinic
Healthcare is an essential element of allowing orphans, vulnerable children and women to thrive. We are looking to a complete, out of the box approach, where the community will invest in their own medical clinic for long term care. It will allow us to provide high level doctors, nurses and medication on a consistent basis. The clinic will also include a surgical suite and birthing center for the broader community care.
Embrace the Vision - High School
Embrace currently has a primary school which covers K-7 grades. As kids progress past seventh grade, many of them are not able to continue into their secondary education because of cost. A new high school will allow the children to complete their entire primary and secondary education in a Christ centered environment.
Embrace the Vision - Farming
We are seeking a more holistic approach to feeding the children in conjunction with Embrace Child Care Ministries. Embrace already owns quality farmland that, if farmed with quality equipment and using modern, culturally appropriate agriculture methods, could provide enough food to feed the orphans and vulnerable children and the foster families who care for them.
Compared to purchasing food, this is a more complex, but more compassionate and ultimately more empowering direction where the entire farming operation will be lead and run by Ugandans. We also believe the implementation of these farming methods will have an impact on the broader community as well. As practical and simple adjustments are made, an increase in the overall food production will be a benefit to all.
Embrace the Vision - Angel Sponsors
Embrace has been entrusted with a number of young girls who were rescued from severe trauma and abuse. Their situation does not allow us to share their pictures or names. An Angel Sponsor follows the biblical call to not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, sponsoring in secret to support the needs of these young girls. Will you be their Angel?
